The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will be holding it’s inaugural Leukemia Poker Run sponsored by Hot Metal Harley Davidson on Saturday, August 21, 2010 which will attract motorcycle enthusiasts throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

The Society’s efforts to find a cure for blood cancers have almost doubled each year since 1980, keeping pace with our need and this year is no different.

The Inaugural Leukemia Poker Run with proceeds benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Western Pennsylvania, will help fund our mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Since the first funding in 1954, LLS has awarded more than $680 million in research funding in hopes of finding a cure so that no-one will have to lose a loved-one or live with this dreadful disease.
